'Mortimer'
I have just completed my latest piece, 'Mortimer'. The painting is a nod to our native long-haired fallow deer in Mortimer forest. Upon starting it, I had no idea that this mutation of the fallow deer only exists in Mortimer forest. It was a joy to discover and made it even more of a fun project to work on.

'Mortimer' is 100 cm wide x 160 cm tall and is a sand and acrylic relief piece - price £2,495.

Visit Us At Malvern Autumn Show
It's all systems go as we prepare for my stand at the Malvern Autumn Show. If you are going to the show please come along and say 'hello'. I will have a substantial selection of my artwork on display and I would love to be able to talk to you about it in person.

As you are aware my pieces tend to be large-scale so I can offer delivery post-event, which will free up the extra space in your car for other show goodies.

Ah, I have now realised
When I used to go on holiday I was eager to take my paints and canvases with me. I had always dreamt about one day becoming a full-time artist. At that time I thought it was the dream that encouraged me to paint on holiday. I had a break for a few days last week with my daughter, as everything this year has revolved around the gallery, so we decided to have some quality time together. What I discovered on our short time away was that it wasn't the drive and determination to one day become a full-time artist that made me paint on holiday (a time to relax), instead, it was and is because I have always been an artist and creative which is why I paint no matter where I am.

Doors Open
After a few months of redecorating the building and getting the gallery how I wanted it to look, I have finally opened the doors. The effort from friends and family to get everything just right has been amazing and I am incredibly grateful to everyone.

I have already met a lot of new people today, the team and I have had a great first day! Please pop in if you are in the area.
